Tacchini’s Millennium Drive sofa combines the best of French Design and Italian manufacturing. Rounded in form with a red wool cover in oversized quilting with large black glossy feature zip.
Designed / launched by whom/when: The Millennium Drive sofa c2008 was designed by French Designer Christophe Pillet who studied in Milan, then worked for Philippe Starck during the 1990s before setting up Christophe Pillet Studio in Paris.
Inspiration: Quilting – wadding enclosed within lines of stitching to keep it in place.
Fabrication: All components are 100% recyclable = 45% Birch plywood frame, 36% polyurethane, 10% upholstery Cover in Top Fabric Category wool with o-sized glossy black plastic feature zip, 5% elastic comfort belts, 4% die cast aluminium fittings.
