Designed / launched by whom/when: The Millennium Drive sofa c2008 is by French Designer Christophe Pillet who studied in Milan, then worked for Philippe Starck during the 1990s before setting up his own studio.
Inspiration: Quilting – wadding enclosed within lines of stitching to keep it in place.
Fabrication: All components are 100% recyclable = 45% Birch plywood frame, 36% polyurethane, 10% upholstery Cover in Top Fabric Category wool with o-sized black plastic feature zip, 5% elastic comfort belts, 4% die cast aluminium fittings. Wide range of extra covers available through Design Consigned.
