Six Brno chairs from Knoll
A rare set of six Mies van der Rohe classic Brno chairs from Knoll, in original tan leather.
Designed when / by: The Brno tubular chair slim seat version is the original chair designed by legendary architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for the dining room at Tugendhat House c1929 in Brno, Czechoslovakia.
Inspiration: Clean lines designed specifically to compliment the ground breaking architecture and rounded chromed columns of Tugendhat House.
Fabrication: Mirror chromed plated 11 guage steel tubular frame and knoll ‘volo’ leather upholstery in tan. *mirror chroming involves multiple nickel and silicone coatings for rust prevention and durability. All six frames still look bright and new.
Design Consigned Stylist: Invest in these famous Knoll chairs. The tan leather is classic and timeless. The frames are nice and weighty and the leather will continue to age to a rich patina.

DC Insider: Approximately 20 years old. The current owner inherited these but now wishes to move them on. We noted a mark on one (as shown) but in general all are in excellent condition.
