Pair of Redondo lounge chairs in luxurious grey velour.
Designed by whom/when: Designed in 2010 by Studio Patricia Urquiola, produced and launched by Moroso at the 2011 Salone del Milano to great acclaim. These come in two sizes, these being the smaller version.
Inspiration: Pre seat belts, luxury cars of 1950s American post war Motel era had curvaceous and generous seating offering a ‘sense’ of protection and comfort for modern road trips.
Fabrication: Internal steel frame, mixed density polyurethane foam surround, polyester fibre padding, Grey velour upholstery with spiralling quilt stitch detailing. Polypropylene feet.
