Designed by / when: Antonio Citterio designed the Imprimateur armchair in 1999 for B&B Italia’s in house brand MAXALTO.
DC Insider: Purchased in 2000 from Space Furniture these chairs have had minimal and similar wear over the 15 years.
Fabrication: The upholstery is darkest brown leather [Alfa – Col 350 ‘valhrona’] with self-piping and removable seat cushion covers. Polished nickel plated steel base trim line. The Alfa leather is embossed with a uniform mechanical grain which looks matt and feels extra soft and smooth and is bio-treated for added durability.A steel frame and mold resistant compressed down inserts are a couple more of the quality features that have kept the Apta Collection in continual demand for over 15 years.
