Original Mitjili Napurrula artwork

‘Watiya Tjuta’ – original 2006 artwork by female artist Mitjili Napurrula professionally stretched onto custom made white timber frame.

Purchased in 2006 by the current owner from a registered gallery.

Acrylic on linen. The painted timber frame is 5cm deep, lightweight and in perfect order. Framing receipt also provided by owner.

*Framing receipt & Cert of origin will be provided with your shipping quote prior to payment.

Design Consigned Stylist: Shouldn’t every Australian interior have at least one indigenous artwork ?. The fresh colours and ‘matisse’ like motifs of Mitjilis work are totally uplifting. The white timber frame will avert ‘timber clash’ with existing timber flooring or furniture.

  • note – could be hung either way

DC Collector: Mitjili is a Pintupi woman born in 1945. Several of her works feature in the Art Gallery of NSW.     SOLD
