‘Taliesin’ is the name of Frank Lloyd Wrights desert home in Arizona, now home to his Architecture School and Foundation. The lamp was designed in 1923 for the bedside tables inspired by a ‘sheltering pagoda’ . He loved the lamps so much he created this floor version in 1955. Made from Japanese cherrywood with solid brass fittings and a Japanese shoji paper shade.
