Philippe Starck Caadre Mirror
The Caadre mirror is a 20th Century mirrored masterpiece by the ‘chef de Design contemporain’, Philippe Starck.
Designed: In 1998 French Designer Philippe Starck created the caadre mirror for FIAM Italia, glass makers since 1973. FIAM and Starck celebrated it’s enduring success with a 20 year anniversary celebration at the 2018 Milan Fair.
Fabrication: Glass mirror and frame which is 4 pieces of 6mm thick curved mirror attached to a metal frame.
Design Consigned Stylist: Considered by many to be the most beautiful contemporary mirror in the world. Beautiful above a fire mantelpiece or over an entry table. Requires a solid wall or support or backing bracket.
Authenticity: Starcks signature is engraved in the corner.

The ‘Caadre’ mirror is produced by Fiam Italia, a company founded on one mans passion for glass. Vittorio Livi was fascinated by the complex chemistry and physics of glass and the possibilities of fusing, engraving, and carving it.
