Johns Collection c1999 is a series of free standing units designed to sit side by side or alone. Rodolfo Dordoni (b1954 Milano) graduated in Architecture in 1979 but soon discovered a talent for object Design, creating Collections for Cappellini and Moroso, rugs for The Rug Company and lighting for Artemide, Foscarini and Fontana Arte among others. He has since returned to Architecture & Interiors whilst also becoming Creative Director for Minotti as they expand globally with flagship stores in New York and London with Interiors by Dordoni.

Inspiration: Johns shelving retains the same grand signature proportions of Minotti Collections, but is broken down into smaller elements making it workable in smaller spaces with the flexibility to move around, as required.

Fabrication: Solid honeycomb core with rare sucupira veneer of high density thick grain, from South America.

DC Stylist: A weighty, stand-alone home library or display unit with hidden feet floating it just off the floor. Exotic South American woodgrain veneer and super large 7cm profile are unique features typical of Minotti’s luxury Designs. Place slightly away from the wall, in front of sheer window drapery, as a room divider, or mount to a solid wall.
