DC Insider:These are model 2534, the half upholstered seat & backrest as opposed to the fully covered 2534U.
Pneumatic-spring assisted height adjustment and swivel function. 4cm thick foam padding upholstered in high quality Danish fabric by Kvadrat Textiles [which is still flawless]. Some castors not working. Satin aluminium base has scratching consistent with 2-3 years of office use.
DC Collector:These chairs are from the original Fritz Hansen production licensing period and wear the embossed FH logo and production serial number. More than 2.5 million originals have been sold globally during the last 50 years. Danish company Engelbrechts are the new licensed producers and have just released a range of limited editions including an oak version and a collaboration with Danish fashion designer MadsNorgaard.
Purchased from licensed Fritz Hansen retailers CULT Furniture in 2007. Original purchase receipt available. Have been in storage since 2011, best ones have sold first. Available to custom order new today at over $950 ea from Australian seating specialists Interstudio.
