Designed / launched by whom/when: Designed in 2000 by Francesco Binfare for Edra Italy. Binfare grew up surrounded by nature in the Valtellina region of Lombardy. Apprenticeships with two of the best, Cesare Cassina and manufacturer B&BItalia led to an invitation to design for Edra in 1992 where he created the iconic Flap sofa.

Inspiration:‘Anatomical design’ that responds to the need of the moment.

Fabrication: Two joined frame sections. Chromed flat steel frame with 9 adjustable parts, breathable polyurethane filling with polyamide casing, original black lycra zip-off technical cover, scratch proof aluminium legs with rubber stoppers.
