Athos dining table by Paola Piva for B&BItalia

Designed in 2001 by acclaimed Italian Architect Paolo Piva [b 1950 Venezia]. Tutored by Carlo Scarpa, and with a curiosity for the city of Vienna, Piva’s designs are influenced by geometry and order.

Inspiration A seemingly thick profile top rests on an ultra slim lineal architectural style base, a design engineered to intrigue the viewer.

Fabrication Square profile polished steel base, concealed painted steel top support frame with non warping mdf top finished in dark oak veneer.
