Designed / launched by whom/when: Created in 1988 by French Industrial Designer Philippe Starck for Flos Lighting Italy (est 1960).
Inspiration: A tusk like task lamp
Fabrication: Polished chromed steel conical support rod, chromed metal horn shaped light source with recessed pressed glass diffuser, any 35W GU4 narrow spot halogen bulb
Hidden Features: 90 degree adjustable light cast. On / Off by tilting the top.
Design Consigned Stylist: Sensational 80s style desk or bedside lamp.
Design Consigned Collector: Authentic original, fully functioning. Excellent condition. Made in Italy by Flos. No longer in production from 2016. Parts still available. Part of the permanent Design Collection at MOMA New York.
Mark of authenticity: base embossed Flos branding and serial number
