Where is a table by Rodolfo Dordoni for Molteni
Where is a round dining table in dark wenge stained solid elm wood, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Molteni & Co Italy.
Designed / launched by whom/when: Designed in 2008, The Where table compliments the Who chair and What sideboards, other Molteni designs by Italian Architect and Creative Director of Molteni & Co, Rodolfo Dordoni.
Inspiration: A round table with a trapezium top. “Simple lines of austere design”
Fabrication: Solid dark elmwood top of 4 sections separated with aluminium dividers covered with elm veneer. Edge profile surrounds. Solid birchwood with elm veneer base (which separates via 4 bolts for ease of transport or storage)
Hidden Features: The four quarter ‘slices’ of the top are secured with adjustable joinery tension bolts.
Design Consigned Stylist: Elegant detailing on this round table for 4-8. Works best with armless dining chairs due to the thick profile top.
Design Consigned Collector: Authentic original, c2012 made in Italy by Molteni & Co. No detracting faults or marks, with only minimal sign of use.
Authenticity: Verified Molteni
Purchase Verification: One owner 2012
DC Insider: This table is super weighty due to the solid wood construction.
