DC Collector: Christine attended Sacre Coer girls school in Melbourne and went on to study and teach art. At an art class, she met, and later married, iconic Australian artist Howard Arkley. This painting was done during a collaborative period with Arkley which also included ‘ Suburban Landscape 1987’ in which you can see Christine’s brushstrokes. A valuable piece of Melbourne’s art history and a real conversation starter.
