Designed when / by: The Brno tubular chair slim seat version is the original chair created by legendary architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for the dining room at Tugendhat House c1929 in Brno, Czechoslovakia.
Inspiration: Clean lines designed specifically to compliment the ground breaking architecture and rounded chromed columns of the Tugendhat House.
Fabrication: Mirror chrome plated 11 guage steel tubular frame and knoll ‘volo’ leather upholstery in tan. *mirror chroming involves multiple nickel and silicone coatings for rust prevention and durability. All six frames still look new and will do so for years to come.
