osso stool by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec x 6
Set of six stools from the ‘osso’ collection by French brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec as specified for Melbourne’s new Stokehouse restaurant.
Designed / launched by whom/when: The ‘osso’ collection was released by Mattiazzi Italy in 2011.
Inspiration: sensual, sculpted and polished, the osso collection also includes tables and chairs to compliment.
Fabrication: Solid ash with black stain
Hidden Features: The matt black stain highlights the beautiful ashwood grain which has been honed and polished using Mattiazzi’s sophisticated robotic machinery.
Design Consigned Stylist: Both quirky and fun, the osso surprises the eye. The curves contrast well against the hard angles of the typical contemporary kitchen.
Design Consigned Collector: Osso is a quintessential Bouroullec design and has proved itself a favourite with interior architects
Stamp or Mark of authenticity: brand embossed. Purchase Verification: provided.
DC Insider: GECA certified, Mattiazzi’s family run factory and all it’s machinery is solar powered, a fact that won over the Bouroullec brothers.
