The super cool AVL collection puts an edgy spin on ‘shaker’ style. Atelier [studio] van Lieshout is an experimental group of creatives who work on design prototypes in a large warehouse near the harbours of Rotterdam under the guidance of founder Joep Van Lieshout, who, like David Walsh of MONA, nurtures cutting edge artists and designers.

The studio’s work is limited edition and some pieces command up to 20,000 Euros at auction. Lieshout blurs the lines between form and function, installation art and sculpture.
